Established in 2003, we have built on our original foundations of copper and fibre optic cabling solutions by expanding into audio visual, IP (Internet Protocol), CCTV, digital signage, telecoms and network hardware.
New services, such as blown fibre solutions, have positioned us as a technologically-advanced network infrastructure specialist.
With headquarters in Westhill, Aberdeenshire, and further premises in Dalgety Bay, Fife we are located in close proximity to Europe’s energy capital.
Over the past decade, Xtreme has grown its workforce from three founding staff members to a team of almost fifty. The company has developed a reputation for its strong safety, quality and customer service records, which can be attributed to its commitment to ongoing staff training programme.
Xtreme has ISO9001 status and holds a number of external accreditations from industry bodies, such as the British Safety Council and Constructionline. The company is Scotland’s only approved Siemon installer and is Network Rail’s sole approved Scottish contractor for infrastructure and installation work.
Xtreme also holds membership of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce and the Scottish Council for Development and Industry (SCDI).
Xtreme’s founder and Managing Director, Graeme Duncan, is one of a small number of British engineers to hold the international RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) qualification, issued by the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI). Xtreme also engages with its local community in a number of ways; Graeme is heavily involved in the Your Future in Energy (YFIE) scheme and is a member of Westhill & district round table. In 2009, Graeme was accepted into the Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen and, as part of this, became a Burgess of the City of Aberdeen (trade member).
