We have promoted Scott Donaldson to the role of Project Manager and have appointed Caitlin Campbell as the new Marketing Communications Coordinator. The appointments come after our recent announcement that we are on course to post a turnover figure of £3 million for the year ending January 2015.
Managing Director Graeme Duncan said: "Xtreme has grown steadily since it was established in 2003 and last year's results are testament to that. We are building upon these this year with more work offshore and overseas.
"Both appointments will support us in delivering these projects and other exciting developments which are in the pipeline."
Scott is an experienced data communications engineer who began his career with us installing data and fibre optic cables on a wide range of projects on and offshore. In his new role, Scott is responsible for managing the work undertaken by the company in the north of Scotland and internationally.
"Throughout his time with Xtreme, Scott has provided a valuable contribution to the business and helped train new recruits," Graeme said. "His knowledge and hands-on experience will help to ensure the continued smooth delivery of client projects."
Our new Marketing Communications Coordinator, Caitlin Campbell, is based at the company's Dalgety Bay office and recently graduated from Edinburgh's Heriot-Watt University with a Masters in International Management.
Taking up the newly created role, Caitlin will oversee our Marketing activities, including managing the social media, compiling the newsletters, and will provide HR support to the team. Graeme said, "Caitlin brings a fresh perspective to the business and many new ideas for developing our profile online, and I am thrilled to welcome her to the team."
